Hello beautiful people. I know it feels like I fell off the grid, quite frankly I feel that way. I’ve kinda taken a little time off, went on a mini vacation just to regroup and gather my thoughts. Your girl was doing way too much, so a break was definitely necessary. But now I’m back in good spirits so I’ll be blogging weekly as per usual.  There’s also a new addition to the reallifewithamanda family, incase you missed it. My Youtube channel is now up and running!. A talk through of this look will be available on the channel and will be linked at the end of this post. The channel is reallifewithamanda TV, be sure to like, comment and subscribe! I think I’ve rambled wayy too much so lets get to the review.

I’m gonna start with the star of the show because this is the reason we are all here, to get the tea on this powder. This Maybelline New York Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder is amazing on its own as well as over foundation. It gives a very nice matte finish and can last for up to 5 hours on its own or 8 hours when used over foundation. I’ve had this product for a week and I’ve used it 4 times already, can you tell I’m loving it!? I’m the darkest shade in the Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation, 360 Mocha, so I grabbed the darkest shade in the powder as well and it was the perfect match. I must say for travel this packaging is a tad bulky, in this case I’d travel with the Maybelline New York Fit Me Matte and Poreless Pressed Powder.

I primed my face using Rimmel Stay Matte Primer and moisturized my lips using the Blistex Medicated lip balm . I’ve mentioned this in my summer essentials post and video, if you haven’t seen that you definitely should.

Next I used this L.A. Girl Pro HD Concealer in the shade espresso to conceal any dark spots and discoloration. This concealer gives amazing coverage. I then proceeded to apply  my Maybelline fit me loose powder.

For the eyes, I tightlined my lash line using this Maybelline New York Eyestudio Master Precise Skinny Eye Pencil. This is one of my favorite liners, it gives a nice precise line.

Continuing with the eyes I started with the Maybelline New York Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara on the upper and lower lashes. I love love looooveeee this brush for the lower lash line. I hated applying mascara to my bottom lashes, but with this brush I can do anything. I followed up with the Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara. This mascara is my very first love and will forever be. I used this to add a bit more drama to the top lashes.

I promise this post isn’t sponsored by Maybelline, I just really love their products. So I used this Mabelline fit me blush in the shade deep wine and applied that using my Morphe blush brush.  This shade is perfect for women of color.

Next I took this Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips, Sunset Strip Bronzer which I used as a highlighter and there are about 5 strips here. I use my elf highlighting brush to go over all 5 strips (because I’m extra lol!) and had a highlighting party. I love this highlighting brush. Some of the best brushes I’ve used are from elf (take it from someone who has used highend brushes as well as drugstore). I think I should do a post on my favorite brushes. That could actually be a thing.

On to the lips, I used one of my favorite lip liners, its the L.A. Girl Lipliner Pencil  in Nutmeg and I lined my lips.

I finished the look with this Maybelline New York Color Sensational Matte Nude lipstick from their matte nudes line in the shade 560 raw chocolate.

And that was it for my barely there no make up make up look.  To see how this look all came together, see the video from my Youtube channel linked below, be sure to subscribe for more and I’ll catch ya’ll next time.
